About the event
This 10-week introductory course is designed especially for teachers and school staff interested in integrating Southern Lushootseed into their classroom environments. We meet every Wednesday starting January 21st thru March 25, 2026.
Students will learn the alphabet, greetings and departures, classroom phrases, and how to navigate online Lushootseed resources. No prior experience is necessary—just a commitment to culturally respectful learning.
Course Details:
Cost: $500 per person (Registration fees directly compensate the language teachers)
Class Size: 15–20 students
