About the event
This 10-week introductory course is designed especially for teachers and school staff interested in integrating Southern Lushootseed into their classroom environments. We meet every Monday starting January 5 thru March 9, 2026.
Students will learn the alphabet, greetings and departures, classroom phrases, and how to navigate online Lushootseed resources. No prior experience is necessary—just a commitment to culturally respectful learning.
Course Details:
Cost: $500 per person (Registration fees directly compensate the language teachers)
Class Size: 10–12 students
