Our Commitment
Tidelands Gallery is an Indigenous-owned gallery and community space showcasing contemporary Native American art, where artists have full agency over their exhibitions. As a hub for creativity and culture, the gallery hosts rotating exhibits, poetry readings, intimate musical performances, and knowledge-sharing events, all in a welcoming environment that respects Indigenous protocols.
We are committed to supporting Native artists through our innovative "collectors circle" model, which fosters direct patron relationships and offers artists job security. This approach ensures that artists are paid to exhibit and allows for the creation of art with integrity and purpose. With a permanent collection by Matika Wilbur and a dynamic rotation of Native artists, Tidelands Gallery is more than a space—it’s a movement for authentic representation and creative freedom.
