About the event

Join us for an evening of books, storytelling, and community at Tidelands.

This gathering is part of a collaboration between All My Relations and NDN Girls Book Club, a Native-led literary nonprofit that uplifts Indigenous authors and brings free books, workshops, and storytelling opportunities to Native youth and communities.

We’ll begin with a free NDN GIRLS BOOK CLUB pop-up, featuring books by Indigenous authors for youth and families, followed by an open mic, kicked off by Kinsale Drake and Lily. Youth and community members are welcome to share poetry, stories, or reflections—or simply come to listen.

This event is connected to the All My Relations Book Club (filmed at Tidelands), which includes:

– A pre-recorded conversation with each featured author (with extended video on Patreon)

– A hybrid community discussion hosted at Tidelands and online
