About the event
Join us on April 2nd at Tidelands, 55 University St, for an evening with Ramona Bennett Bill celebrating the release of her new memoir, Fighting for the Puyallup Tribe, and a live conversation for the All My Relations podcast. Ramona is one of the most important Indigenous activists in Washington State history, and her work has shaped generations through organizing within the Puyallup Tribe, fighting for treaty fishing rights, reclaiming Fort Lawton, and helping advance the Indian Child Welfare Act. Her memoir shares a powerful firsthand account of these moments and the strength it takes to stand up for our communities.
This is an RSVP only gathering. Ramona will be signing books following the conversation, and light refreshments will be provided. We hope you will join us for an evening of story, reflection, and being together in a good way as we honor her life’s work.
