About the event
This 10-week beginner-friendly class introduces students to foundational Southern Lushootseed language skills. We meet every Tuesday evening starting January 6 thru March 10, 2026.
Together we’ll explore the alphabet, simple conversations, language nesting practices, and how to introduce yourself in Lushootseed. Ideal for brand-new learners or anyone returning after time away, this class builds confidence in everyday usage and connection to community.
Course Details:
Cost: $500 per person (Registration fees directly compensate the language teachers)
Class Size: 10–12 students
