About the event
This 10-week beginner-friendly class introduces students to foundational Southern Lushootseed language skills. We meet every Wednesday evening starting January 21st thru March 25, 2026.
Together we’ll explore the alphabet, simple conversations, language nesting practices, and how to introduce yourself in Lushootseed. Ideal for brand-new learners or anyone returning after time away, this class builds confidence in everyday usage and connection to community.
Course Details:
Cost: $500 per person (Registration fees directly compensate the language teachers)
Class Size: 15 - 20 students
