The Frame That Holds The Story
Based on Nikkita Oliver’s incredible lecture we will examine moments of history and the
impacts they have on contemporary struggles. To look forward we must examine the past. This
workshop will be an exploration of past and present narratives. We will combine historical
moments of hardship with the current obstacles we face in order to craft meaningful personal
narratives. We will weave in stories of those who came before us with the voices of present..
